Amy Middleton
Studied for a degree in Psychology, focusing particularly on educational development, and then went on to complete a Post Graduate Certificate in Education.
Amy has worked in 3 primary schools over the last 13 years and taught in all year groups from Reception to Year 6. She has had responsibilities such as Year group Leader and Maths Curriculum Manager and have also completed a course in leadership in teaching. Amy currently teaches in a local primary school and am passionate about children’s enjoyment in learning. Also a mummy to two young girls, which is her most challenging yet rewarding job yet!
Amy and Teresa are so excited about managing a play scheme together which will offer child care through the school holidays in a safe and secure setting, as well as providing fun packed activities to support children’s learning.
Teresa Cole
After studying a four year teaching degree at Winchester University, Teresa returned to Portsmouth to start her teaching career at Padnell Infant School and 12 years later, she loves it so much she is still there! Over the years Teresa has worked across all of the year groups in various roles including leadership and mentoring. Alongside this, Teresa is also a mummy to two little girls age 4 and 5, who certainly keep her busy, but everyday they remind her why she is so fascinated and passionate about children and their development. I am very much looking forward to enjoying time with the children coming to Get Set Play and meeting new families.
