What a SUPER time we had during May half term. It was Superhero week at Get Set Play and we enjoyed spending time with all the little superheroes who came to join us.
Throughout the week children were able to create hero masks and capes, construct superhero Lego, compete in a hero obstacle course and Spiderman climbing competition, make bat mobiles out of junk modelling, bake and decorate comic cookies, make kryptonite jelly and make superhero origami models!
We were also incredibly lucky to have a day ‘learning to fly’ with a bouncy castle from Copnor Bouncy Castle Hire. The children loved practising jumping like heroes and had a super supply of energy!
Again we were really lucky with the weather and were able to get outside and play in the adventure playground and on the field every day.
We are now looking forward to the summer and are planning a WHOLE 5 WEEKS of fun!
